Also, National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week starts Saturday, November 11 and runs through November 18. As stated on their web site: “Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is an annual program where people come together across the country to draw attention to the problems of hunger and homelessness. Participating groups spend the week holding a series of educational, service, fundraising, and advocacy events.” If you can participate in any of these activities, that would be great! If not, please consider making a donation to an organization working to fight hunger or homelessness - there are many to choose from. And, of course, there’s always Community First! Village.
